Navigating Life’s Challenges with Compassionate Support

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming—whether you're facing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, burnout, or simply feeling lost. You're not alone, and seeking help is a courageous first step toward healing and growth.

As a trauma-informed therapist, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Together, we’ll work to understand the root causes of your struggles and develop strategies to help you move forward with clarity and self-compassion.

Areas of Support

I work with both teens and adults on a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety & panic

  • Depression & low mood

  • Trauma & PTSD

  • Complex PTSD

  • Self-harm & emotional regulation

  • Low self-esteem & confidence

  • Burnout & stress

  • Feeling lost or stuck

  • Phobias & intrusive thoughts

  • Grief & loss

  • Relationship challenges

  • Health anxiety

My Approach

Drawing from a rich blend of evidence-based modalities, I tailor our work to meet your unique needs and goals. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care—meaning your safety, voice, and autonomy are always central to our work together.

My training includes:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – a powerful, structured method for helping the brain reprocess distressing memories and reduce the emotional intensity of trauma

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – to foster emotional flexibility and presence

  • Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) – for creating momentum and goal-setting

  • Brain Working Recursive Therapy (BWRT) – a fast, subconscious-based intervention for emotional blocks

  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches – to support grounding, awareness, and resilience

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – to explore attachment and deepen self-understanding

About EMDR

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy designed to help people recover from trauma and distressing life experiences. Using bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), EMDR helps the brain process stuck memories in a way that reduces their emotional charge. It’s not about erasing the past—but about helping it no longer dominate your present. EMDR is particularly effective for PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, and negative self-beliefs rooted in past events.

What to Expect

Therapy is a collaborative journey. Here's what our work together typically looks like:

  1. Initial Consultation – A space to share what’s brought you here and ask any questions.

  2. Assessment – Exploring your background and current challenges to shape a personalised approach.

  3. Therapeutic Work – Weekly sessions using tailored methods to support your healing and growth.

  4. Ongoing Support – Tools, insight, and compassionate guidance as you navigate meaningful change.

Sessions are available In Person or online via Zoom, making therapy accessible from the comfort of your own space.

What it's like working with me

Clients often describe me as warm, real, and easy to talk to. I bring a calm and grounded energy into sessions, and my priority is always to make you feel safe, seen, and supported—no matter what you’re bringing into the room.

I’m not here to judge or fix you. I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, honesty, and the right tools to help you make sense of what you’re going through. I’ll meet you where you are, and together we’ll work toward creating the change you’re ready for—at a pace that feels right for you.

With years of experience and advanced training in trauma, EMDR, and a range of therapeutic approaches, I bring depth and insight to our work—but I also bring humanity. Therapy with me is a space where you can be yourself, explore what’s going on beneath the surface, and start to feel more like you again.
